Castle Landshut-Express

Get on board and off we go with the yellow vintage bus to Landshut Castle and back again. Gorgeous views included.

The ride in the yellow vintage bus is already an experience: right through the steep vineyards, past the St. Anna Chapel with its Stations of the Cross, the journey continues to the castle ruins. Here you will experience a unique view over the city and the impressive Moselle Valley – an unforgettable experience that you will cherish in beautiful memories for a long time. A restaurant café in the courtyard invites you to linger.

The return trip goes past the old youth hostel above the castle, further through the romantic Bernkasteler Schweiz. Here, the “Tiefenbach” winds through the valley, cutting through a massive mountain outcrop and tumbling down as a roaring waterfall. Steep above the waterfall, you will see the “Tinkeler Heiligenhäuschen” (Maria-Hilf Chapel) on a rocky outcrop. On the main road, the journey goes through the Burgbergtunnel back to Bernkastel.

Daily during the season at every full hour from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. from the stop "Am Gestade" directly opposite the DEINHARD's hotel.

Route downhill ("Burg Landshut" - "Am Gestade")
Daily during the season at 20 minutes past each hour from 11:20 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. from the stop in front of Burg Landshut.
